How to start writing?

First off, before anything, you have determine the points you want to include in the essay. For this, you may use the IMEJ method.

IMEJ Method? What is it?

IMEJ is an acronym for:

 

I - Identify what the question wants

M - Make a statement

E - Elaborate on the answers

J - Justify the elaboration by giving textual evidence from the novel

 

Next, how to construct the essay?

In constructing the essay, do mention these information (framework of answer):

 

  • Novel

  • Author

  • Introduction

  • Evidence 1+ Detail

  • Evidence 2 + Detail

  • Evidence 3 + Detail

  • Conclusion (Compulsory)

  • * Minimum 2 evidence
